I'm gonna say something and maybe this'll get me banned but fk it. I've read a lot of comments about Boots and I see the same two comments about him consistently

    "He's a weight bully"
    "He has a poor defence"

To me ? Honestly ? There is a racial element to this.

For a lot of white and non-black guys, there is always something unsettling seeing a black fighter stomp on a white or non-black fighter, like what we saw on Saturday.

They hate Jaron Ennis because he doesn’t look like them. It’s because he’s black. There I said it.

When Floyd was super defensive and didn't get hit. He got sh*t
Now Boots is super offensive and does get hit. He gets sh*t

    Can't win really ?

So is that why the same has been said about David Benavidez, Gilberto Ramirez, Julio Cesar Chavez Jr, Vergil Ortiz, Jaime Munguia, Nonito Donaire, Canelo Alvarez, Naoya Inoue, Artur Beterbiev and Callum Smith as well? People get called weight bullies for a reason, because they ****ing are. You're seeing racism where there simply isn't any to be found. If anything there's a ton of equality in this criticism, because every race across the board gets tagged with it.

I will say the same about any Aussie fighter who is a weight bully. I actually was saying the other week that Brock Jarvis was a weight bully and that is why he had a good looking record. So can you tell me what other Aussie fighters that are weight bullies? I've already given you Jarvis who isn't even good for domestic standards.

I don't believe in weight bullies it's an excuse used to discredit fighters you don't like. Are there fighters big at their weight sure but if they make weight they make weight.

I never used to believe in it but now that I am involved in strength training an nutrition I see it.
Also your man Floyd believed in weight bullies that is why he slapped rehydration clauses on some of his opponents and had his man Tank do the same thing.
I have kept the same "energy" for Sydney sider Brock Jarvis so please name another Aussie fighter that is big for their weight class?

Exactly and calling someone a weight bully is not an excuse it's a term used to describe a fighter who sucks a lot of weight. It's a fair tactic within the rules but it is far from noble and that is why these fighters get less respect. It's just science being bigger in a fight and using your size is an advantage to deny this is just ridiculous.

didn’t Floyd not play the rehydration game at all? like, his ring weight was actually what he scaled in at.

that wouldn’t have been due to some notion of fairness though. He was probably someone unable to perform at his highest level if he did it, so he figured better to just mess with that game. There’s no way he wouldn’t have experimented and tried it. Dude was way too disciplined and studied to have not tried.

This is some serious mental gymnastics. Surely you remember Brandon Rios, Giovani Segura, Janibek Alimkhanuly, David Benavidez, Callum Smith, Saul Alvarez and many many others who have been called weight bullies?
