Great scrap. Thought Rios was done after the first round but he looked strong after that. Huge heart from Alvarez but he needs to keep his hands up and move his head. Tough ain't enough. Respect to both men.

 

I thought Rios should stay retired, and that Alvarez should bear him. I was wrong, but I think Rioz-ortiz still needs to happen.

On Sky they kept talking about Josh Kelly throughout that fight. Reckon Matchroom might push for Kelly-Rios on the AJ undercard in April. Remember it was supposed to be Eggington-Rios before Sam blew it against that African lad.

 

He wants a world title? It won't happen at 147, munguia at 54 is his best chance imo.
