Confession time...I don't think I've actually ever watched Bam live. Just highlights of matches on YT.

Actually maybe the Israel González fight on the Canelo vs. GGG III undercard (co-main, I believe?)

    Otherwise, nope.

Cuadras, SSR, Edwards, JFE, Guevera ...somehow I've managed to miss every major bout of Bam's since he burst on the scene.

He offered it too late knowing Nakatani won't take it at this point. Practically everyone knew Nakatani was vacating his belts after Nishida unification because that was the plan for Teiken who paid for it despite neither Nakatani nor Nishida being their stable.

If Bam was serious, he offers the fight after the Guevara match last year for spring, when Nakatani was killing time destroying mandos because no one would unify with him.

if junto was serious, he just accepts. the rest is meaningless. im not saying junto is afraid, or that bams beats him no problem, but lets not pretend bam is avoiding ANYONE. he jumped 2 divisions on a weeks notice for the smoke. and was willing to jump another for nakatani. so lets keep it real.

I'm not saying Bam is running from Nakatani. I'm saying Nakatani wasn't gonna take anyone's offer after Nishida because he HAD to vacate given the situation and move up to S. Bantam to face Inoue next year, a guy more dangerous than Bam at Bantam.

Bam's only chance to fight Nakatani was to offer in place of Cuellar in February prior to Nishida fight. Teiken set up the unification with a background agreement that the winner vacates prior to fall. Not talking about conspiracy or anything, but since the spring time it was already in schedule that Tenshin fights for the vacant belt in November. It was quite known in the Japanese news since spring.

Hes actually scheduled to fight Martinez on the Benavidez vs Yarde card.

At least Bam here is taking back to back unification fights, can´t really **** on him for that.

Finally got around seeing the replay. Impressive performance yet again. Cafu just couldn’t deal with the skills, speed and angles from Bam. Excited for him against Fernando Martinez although I’m starting to think that Bam might make that fight look easy as well.

im sure the fight will happen. their paths are destined to cross. whether junto fights inoue or not. i think it will be a great fight, but i think bam does everything just a bit better and will beat him. but we will see.

I hope it will happen too, but if it does it certainly will not be at 118 but in 122 after 2026 at the earliest. Nakatani, regardless of win or lose to Inoue next May is not going back down to 118 once he vacates and leaves.

    2020's - Usyk
    2010's - Mayweather
    2000's - Pacquiao
    1990's - Hoyfield? (RJJ?)
    1980's - Leonard
Special mention to Roy Jones Jr who is with out a doubt the best boxer to lace up gloves since 1988. There i only 1 boxer close. DM to find out who.
