I'm glad the move to SMW has lit a fire under his ass and reminded John he's a puncher, he's the only guy I've ever seen legit hurt Saunders, which isn't an easy feat.

Ryder is definitely a dark horse at SMW.

He would work Eubank Jr over, for sure. I even think this version of Ryder would be a real handful for Callum Smith.

CEJ vs Ryder would be a great fight, think their styles would gel. But Smith way too big for Ryder, surely. He's a physical freak at 168...

He's got the wrong trainer in my eyes. Tony Sims is way too join-the-dots in his approach for Ryder. Rob McCracken could have used the Froch blueprint to get the best out of him...

LOL did you watch this fight?

Ryder looked like a bum for 5 rounds, Sirotken is mediocre and won the 1st 5 on the trot and easily

Smith and Eubank Jr would give him savage beatings, he is too easy to hit

God you're stupid. Sirotkin is overall fairly average, but he is awkward, and was undefeated for a reason, also he's a southpaw that can switchhit, Ryder trained to face another southpaw and he fought in the orthodox stance. I figured it would take Ryder a few rounds to figure him out, the when he did he get him out of there, and that's exactly what happened. CEJ is every bit as average as CEJ. Granted I have a hard time seeing Ryder beat Smith.

He was undefeated because he fought bin men

Ryder likes a tear up. He also is very economical with his punches and he is a 168lber who Jr will out size. His slow hands and punch picking will get him hurt.

I don't think he holds enough to jeep Jr off him.

Callum Smith would just hammer him

He's lost twice, to Saunders, barely, he actually did better against Saunders than Eubank did, then against Blackweel, which was an anomaly, if you haven't seen his atches against Fielding and Arnfield, go watch them, they both robberies. Especially the Arnfield match, who even teh commentators were perplexed by the decision. Hee hits like a Mach truck at SMW and like I said, he hurt Saunders far worse than CEJ ever did, he'd catch CEJ with something eventually, he's a far better counter puncher than he's given credit for.

I really like Isaac Chamberlain seems like such a good kid, I worry this isn't the game for him because I don't want to see him hurt. He could turn out fine, but I just don't see enough skill & power at the weight to really ever make a impact, and you can get seriously hurt fighting at CW when you can't keep guys off you and you fight with your hands down.

I'd like to see them step Cheeseman up a litte higher than against a spoiler like Byfield, but Cheeseman might just be the goods. Just need to see how his chin holds up against a big puncher.
