DAZN MUST sign Canelo/GBP. It's make or break.

I guess DAZN executives realize that this Canelo deal will not be profitable. It was not the reason they got him. They needed Canelo as a flagship — if he has signed, other boxers should follow suit. They are hoping for a snowball effect to start.

 

Ah, that makes sense. Gamble and that could also be bad but as long as they are playing a long game and have a ****ton of money which it seems like they do it works out well.

 

I don't care about things like that. It's weird that boxing fans like you do. This isn't really a team sport. There aren't sides like that. It's just boxing.

 

The app alone had been downloaded 1.1+ million times before Canelo signed this deal. I don't even use the app, I just use their site to watch so who knows how many people do it that way. Your hate for Matchroom & Hearn is freaky.

 

There is also MMA fans with all the Bellator and other MMA orgs they have, and some kind of soccer league as of right now that helps with subs. It's not all on Boxing & Canelo.

 

Quite a bit considering Matchroom USA has been the most heavily pushed content on the service since it's launch. You have no credibility because of your murderous hate for Hearn and Matchroom. Making stuff up and passing it off as rumor...The amount of anger you have for a person you don't know personally is more than disturbing. You should try to evict Hearn & Matchroom USA from your head, who have been living rent free in your mind since they launched in the US.

 

Yeah I wasn't implying it was. Just saying that to warrant that much money he'd have to bring in that much.

 

Apparently the preform group have a ton of cash. To give out that massive deal, and for it to come out of a completely different chest than the huge amount they gave Hearn and Matchroom is insane lol.

 

If Davo wasn't sure an egotistical *******, he'd have some more people giving him credit. Honestly, he made a good call. His overall analysis was very sound, and it broke down just as he predicted, at least at the front end. He deserves some credit so I gave him a few likes in his more on point posts that were less egotistical, just because he deserves them.

I've noticed that in general, both in this topic and even more for Wilder topics, he can mix insightful comments with completely over the top comments, and combine it all with smug egotism and insults to people willing to give him partial credit. A very weird guy, but I guess the internet brings out all kinds.

 

Funny that the haters seem to have knowledge of how the Matchroom shows have performed on DAZN but no knowledge of how Bellator or the WBSS did.

Must all just be a coincidence.
