I just don't understand why the boxers doesn't feel they have an obligation to put on a good fight ?

 

I feel the same, but the fighters on that card could and did get away with putting in the bare minimum in exchange for an obscene paycheck. If Turki facilitates any further cards like this then you have to question his judgement, if you haven't done so already.

Was going to watch the final on it today your right it's not included in the normal subscription utterly ridiculous and expensive for National League Football .

 

The Ring Magazine card scheduled for July 12th will also be a DAZN PPV, right ?

 

Almost all content on DAZN is PPV.

Remember what Eddie Hearn said ? You just pay for a normal DAZN subscription and you´ll get access to big events that normally would be PPV. Times have changed

 

To be fair, Queensberry's shows in April and May on DAZN have both been non ppv.

 

Because they’re massively overpaid. They’re not fighting to stay relevant and get another big fight/purse because they’ve already got the big purse. They’re literally just turning up for a pay check in silent arenas where the lack of atmosphere filters through to the fights in the most part and results in a borefest.

 

I've just this moment unsubscribed due to them locking out (ie PPV) the Oldham v Southend PO Final.

They can get "various expletive words" out. Saved myself £14-99 pm.

Awful business model.

 

A few years ago I was very excited about His Excellency and Saudi's big money investment in Boxing but today I am more divided on that issue.

Today it is almost impossible to get 2 boxers of reasonable level to face each other - unless there is a lot of money involved. We didn't have that problem before Saudi's entry into boxing.

I can give or take the Saudi shows now. The constant showing on screen of Turki, the crap atmospheres, interviewing celebs, pre-main event concerts etc.
