He lost by about 4 rounds for me but a great effort and he had Mason in trouble more than once.

This was the 4th fight from the main event on the undercard and simply levels above both fighters on the main event last week.

A real contest between 2 warriors.

Great fight I've questioned Noakes due to the level of his opposition but he's gone up in my estimation tonight massive heart shown there.
I had it 7/5 Mason so no complaints.

 

I had Noakes 1 point up. Excellent fight all the way through. Both fighters arrived on the world scene amd have a good future.

I thought Norman Jr would win this on points, looks like no chance of that happening now, this must be Haney's twin brother in the ring, using boxing skills,"but fighting on the front foot with intent, looking very good after eight rounds.

 

Yarde’s proved for the third time now that fighting journeymen, domestic-level lads and Lyndon Arthur is no preparation for the top level. Same pattern again – starts fast, looks dangerous early, then fades and gets stopped. I think that’s him done at world level. The Buatsi cash-out fight feels like the obvious next move.

Haney was surprising… or Norman was disappointing. Not sure which way to lean. Bam was Bam, pure class as usual. And Noakes was in the fight of the night by a mile. He can definitely come again.

 

Great card last night but of course you had to have Hearn and Connor Benn on there embarrassing themselves
