And a total of 7 KOs between them.

How anyone takes women's boxing seriously is beyond me.

He is, but he’s not exactly the most neutral, honest voice in this. Think he’s had two shows cancelled by DAZN now, and he always gets the call up for shows on Netflix cos he’s tight with TKO and Jake Paul.

You won’t get big Ade coming out with something like that!

He definitely has a point. It's great that one of the world's biggest platforms wants to invest in Boxing.

The really interesting question is : Will DAZN still be "the home of boxing" in 2 years time ?

He interviewed Eddie Hearn the other day, shame he didn't press this point with him. He did, however, say that he had heard that Turki and Frank Warren had fallen out and Hearn didn't exactly deny it. Anything that isn't on DAZN is a plus as far as I am concerned, so Netflix, return of Sky, entrance of YouTube supposedly all to be welcomed.

I’d argue Netflix isn’t really investing in boxing though, it’s investing in ‘big events’, which a few superfights, novelty contests and freak show fights fall in to.

As long as that’s their plan - and I don’t see why they’d change it - I don’t think they’re investing in the ‘sport’ of boxing at all really.

Teo v Shakur is a brilliant fight and hardly heard anything about it. DAZN for you.

Just thought I’d check before purchase, is there any discount code or anything like that for current subscriber for the Stevenson Lopez PPV.
Have seen for example that FightHub display a discount code for the PPV but for non subscribers only.
I know about the ultimate package and the double up with the Garcia Barrios fight, but that doesn’t suit me.

This Ring Card really sums up why DAZN has ruined boxing.

In any other era, Sky or Box Nation show this at no extra charge. Instead they are wanting £24.99 for a 4am fight with 0 British interest.

It is mega fight but could be a bore fest.

But the thing is mate, in the old days they’d have just pieced the Kelly fight into the package as the prelude to the US card. And let’s not forget you’re getting Dancing Fran chucked in for “free” too.

No such thing as a free lunch in the modern world with all these platforms and services available, you pay for it somewhere one way or another.

I actually miss the old days of slipping the BT/Sky engineer a few quid and getting everything unlocked. With a firestick it feels more like the bootleg DVD/VHS era you’d grab down the market – works great live, but most of what I watch now is on replay so I just end up sucking it up.

It does feel like we’re getting bent over at times though. I’ve already got Sky Sports basically for the tennis, then TNT nicks the Australian rights so I’ve got to swallow another sub just to watch it. To be fair, yesterday’s matches were worth the price alone, and the women’s final’s on now.

And it’s the same with everything else.
