Good performance by Bellew, thought Usyk wouldn't have it all his own way but Bellew did better than I thought he would. Bellew changes range so well with footwork and upper body movement and counters well, he's quite a slippery fighter.

Usyk stayed calm and focused, wasn't rattled and made adjustments to close the show. Thought Bellew would last a few rounds longer but Usyk's finishing was superb, once he smelled weakness in Bellew he went for the kill.

Some people are actually going to act as if the first three rounds alone condone Usyk to some great fall on the mythical P4P lists of yore...

That was one of the greatest moments I've ever witnessed in recent times. I haven't cheered so much in a long long time.

Usyk is genuinely unbelievable, I am stating it now, he beats every heavyweight on the planet.

Joshua and Wilder are just keeping his belts warm.

What? How can you give Bellew round 5-7? Those were pretty clearly Usyk's. And round 1 nothing landed

There’s respect for your opponent but Usyk looks ready to chin Bellew again if he goes in for another kiss

Usyk typically starts slowly and surges in the later rounds of the fight, so it didn't necessarily shock me to see him drop the first three or four rounds. I was a little surprised at how quickly he was able to dismantle Bellew from the fifth on; and how definitive the finish was. That was KOTY quality stuff at the end.

Bellew wouldn’t last one round with Joshua, he said it himself. Size wise they are light years apart

After being exhausted and KOed, obviously Bellew is going to be out of it.

    It's like the friendly drunk.

    Careful? Ehhh.

I'm well aware of Usyk's customary slow-starting ways, but the amount he got touched up in the first six rounds (yes, six ... it wasn't like things banged a 180 and Bellew shat the bed after just three as some people seem to be instantly rewriting this as some revisionist narrative) is hardly what I'd term "careful".

Man I feel terrible for calling Bellew: Bellend. End of the day, im behind a computer and he put it all out there against the undisputed CW champ. Bellew, respect brother, you showed total class in defeat and total class throughout the fight. Congrats on a fine career man.
