Tragic , heroic and predictable ending for a British boxing hero.:shakehead::crybaby2:.. I thought Bellew faded from the weight cut but Usyk wouldve ended it before the 12th regardless. Great fgth , enoyed it immensely. OU is just too good. Because of this fight millions more people will know who he is and he deserves the recognition

I said at the end of round 3 that Usyk’s jab was causing bellew problems and this idiot below quoted me to say this.

No you spastic I was right. Everything was coming off that fluttering jab that was in Bellew’s face constantly. The jab was setting everything off and allowed Usyk to push Bellew back for all of the rounds after that point.

Very harsh scoring from you tonight. I was expecting a fight like this, hence my lack of typical bloviating in the lead up. Bellew has proved to be a killer at CW, now think about it.... what's the worse thing that could possibly occur in the career of future ATG Usyk? Getting brutally KTFO by Tony Bellew. That would be utterly devastating and very embarrassing wouldn't it? Bellew has proven very dangerous in the first half, but gassed in the second half of his fights at CW, and since Bellew hasn't gone past the 7th in about 3 1/2 years.... Usyk played it safe, he didn't go all out in the first 3, did enough to nick the 4th, then gradually amped up the pressure and KO'd him late. It was a beautiful strategy, and yeah, I genuinely think it was premeditated.

By the way, I was also expecting the brutal KO too.:D I think I predicted the round.

Bellew was always a good fighter, but you can't drop your right hand against a southpaw. This got Bellew quickly knocked out against Stevenson and got him dropped against Makabu. He was disciplined with keeping that right hand up against Usyk for the first 5 rounds and his upperbody movement was giving Usyk trouble, but once he started tiring he started dropping that right hand and It was only a matter of time before Usyk made him pay for it. Usyk's high volume also didn't help and caused Bellew to burn up his stamina faster.

Didn't write it down, but by memory nicked a nothing contest over the first three and then Usyk begin to turn the gears thereabouts at which their respective levels become apparent...

All credit to Bellew. He did all that he could, and made Usyk work. Bellew was getting it done early, for sure. It's not like Bellew is a stiff, nor is Usyk some unbeatable boxing robot.

    Great fight.

I do like listening to Mike Costello and Richie Woodhall. Bunce for me however, is very hit-and-miss; I find him okay when he is calmly making a point, but not when he is in shrieking hyperbole mode. He is an acquired taste, that's for sure.

That guy is a joke, he quotes me in every RBR now to try to pick holes in my posts and ends up looking the idiot. Like last week when he was hyping Ryan Burnett to the moon and he ended up being drawn into a close fight with Donaire in which he was suffering the heavier shots.

It was not his jab what won the fight for usyk, but his left hand. His jab did only 2 things in this fight: provoke bellew to throw his right so that he could counter it. And helping him to get a good position.

It was not until he started to play better the power hand game that he started to win rounds.

I just dont agree with you saying that the jab won the fight, I wont argue neither though, I dont feel like arguing today.

Bunce has an uncomfortable relationship with the truth. But if you have ever lost your dog and need to find it, he's your man...

He put a mouse under Bellew's eye and got Bellew's nose bleeding from that jab.

    Usyk's jab was huge.
