Tell me they aren't actually trying to stick this on PPV: https://www.dazn.com/en-US/news/box...-time-and-ppv-price/3w256lzn3n8c1im5hxdn5rf1i The headliner was LH undisputed. With that gone, this does not warrant PPV. The headliner is now two old men coming off loses They are asking for not far off what they wanted for undisputed. They can **** right off
It's 21.99 euro in my country. But i think the PPV is well worth it. Though wasn't DAZN supposed to be a subscription based ? This s*** so bad for their subscribers, as they have just 1 euro discount from everyone else, who just pay the PPV. For me you cannot have both, one or the another. Or you had to cut the PPV price in half for already subscribed users. Wilder - Zhang Dubois - Hrgovic And this is more than enough for me. Bivol is also going to fight, which is just a must watch for me anyway. Huge fan of his style.
This is why I dropped DAZN. It's a bunch of regional fights with almost everything interesting on PPV. At $225/year or whatever it is now, it's just not a good deal. DAZN costs about the same as Netflix, which is bonkers.
Showtime, and HBO were subscribtion based and also had PPVs. At least with DAZN you havean entire library dedicated to boxing, and two of the four biggest promotions use DAZN.
I don´t know how it´s for the rest of you, but I can´t use DAZN at all now. The Usyk-Fury PPV played smoothly but ever since then the service has been unwatchable. The quality keeps jumping between 144p and 1080. It´s quite literally unwatchable. Why the F can´t I set a quality perimeter? And no, I have no such issues with any other site.
You just reminded me how much it sucks trying to watch a replay of a card on that platform. Endless buffering. If it drops, you are back to the beginning of the 8 hour feed to scrub through. It might be okay if you are watching on a computer with a mouse, but trying to get back to where you are up to with a TV remote was infuriating.
They seem to be treating boxing fans the way they treat those YouTubers fight fans. Who is your favourite content creator Matchroom or Queensberry? I can maybe understand the appeal living in UK, but not here in Japan. Plus +£21 for UK Plus +£30 equivalent* for Japan (madness) *It's +3000yen (direct exchange is 15 quid), but Japanese salaries have been stagnant for over a decade and the purchasing power of the yen is at a 60-70 year low. We aren't getting screwed like the US, but this is still a joke for a card where the main selling point is now regional interest
