It’s the usual suspects who have been duped. It’s hilarious to read back old threads on here. Not to blow my own trumpet but I was vocal from the outset about how the numbers made zero sense and that PPVs were inevitable. Used to get ridiculed. It’s comical looking back now.

As Jurgs would say, muggths are there to be muggeth’d.

Yeah ok clown, that’s why DAZN were seeking customer feedback on whether they’d pay up to £30 to see Ruiz Pudding v Shyte…

Benn gets away with murder. All we had in the build up to Kelly v Ava was ‘Kelly v Benn sells out the O2, Kelly v Benn PPV’ etc etc and then as soon as Ava wins they don’t wanna know.

I know, it's embarrassing, Hearn was trying to spin it like it was HIM that told Benn not to fight Avanesyan, also the old "the money wasn't good enough".

Yet last week Benn was saying Avanesyan is "high risk, low reward".. since when has a European title been "low reward"?

The money would be good, the European title, but NO, Benn needs more shot to pieces old names who at some point lost to a good fighter.

Benn hasn't won a British, Commonwealth, European or World title, he has won NOTHING.

Yet him amd Hearn talk like he is a major belt holder and is top of the tree, yet in the same breath say he isn't ready for a European title.

Yeah pretty much, Hearn just exposed himself in this one though, the double standards, the BS about PPV and I think it will cost the DAZN.

I am seeing people online saying they will bin DAZN the moment they stick on a PPV, also I don't think DAZN is set up for PPV.

Sky Sports are major channels, they have the football so advertising is easy, also you can order by a red button. I know lots of people who haven't got DAZN because they don't want to mess around with an App.

I think DAZN will learn the hard way, so will AJ if he goes to DAZN, he isn't the "star" he once was, espically if he loses the rematch.

It depends how you look at it. DAZN isnt trying to follow in Sly Sports shoes, they will use Social media and online avenues to advertise and get people in. TImes are changing and how we consume entertainment has evolved, sport is the last one left really and still stuck in the past. You dont see Netflix struggling because they dont have a tv station to advertise on. If you have quality content people will subscribe.

So I've watched the interview and basically Hearns making a distinction between high level and low level PPV fights. That's rubbish because now fighters become "PPV fighters" who demand to be PPV regardless of the level of their opponent, Whyte being a big example of that. It's not PPV fights, it's now PPV fighters.

Benn said before ‘you’ve gotta bring summin to the table’ in his fake gangsta accent. What’s Benn bringing to the table...

Not read through the whole thread so apologies for repeating anything. My first thought was, as there been any other fighter who's PPV value goes up when he gets defeated? It went up to £25 for the Ruiz rematch and now they're on about £30 for the Usyk rematch?

This is why some people like to see Joshua get beat. He's got Hearn behind him and that's seemingly the only way that fella gets rattled. If this goes ahead then I think PPV has pretty much doubled since Joshua v Whyte.

I won't be subscribing to DAZN again. I'd quite happily see it fall on its backside to be honest. It's driving the cost of boxing up so I see no benefit to it.

Trying to justify the move to DAZN by saying ‘Whyte v Wallin is a PPV on Sky all day’ yeah because you put Whyte on that pedestal Eddie you n0b.

At the weekend Helenius v Kownacki was on an undercard yet we’re expected to be grateful for Whyte v Wallin being on DAZN because it would’ve had to be PPV on Sky.

Aj is obv ending his deal with sky

also imo this is Hearn/matchrooms idea
As they have always stated aj will always be a ppv fighter as long as he fights

This. Sick of saying it, it's this ***** that's inflated the sport. Paying fat slobs like Whyte and Chisora funny money, making them think they'll only now fight for a few million, it's outrageous. He's paid far too much money, to too many bang average fighters and has made an arse of it.

A couple of massive fights per year on DAZN PPV is fine but no more than that.
