The commentary team is better with the inclusion of Lee and Costello over the likes of Adam Smith and Nelson.

Eh day Earn coming out to Simply the Best on Saturday in Leeds

I call you, when I need you my DAZN is on fire
You come to me, come to me, wild and wild
    You come to me
Telling me the new price is greed
Gave you a lifetime of promises and unfilled dreams
Speak the language of boxing like you know what it means
And I can't be wrong, pay your subs
    And make it strong, baby
    You're simply the best
    Better than the Queensberry mess
    Better than Bob Arum
Adam Smith is a little wet

BT have a better set of pundits, give me Bunce, Frampton, Dempsey and John Fury any day of the week.

    Proper boxing men.

It's the supposed production levels that he keeps saying are next level, levels above anything else which i have a problem with. There's nothing special at all to what DAZN have put out.

Real top level boxing production is what HBO used to put out back in the day in my opinion.

They’re both good cards but when you’re getting no other content but then they’re effectively PPV.

It just feels like this is about Whyte getting more money hence why matchroom have pressured or hinted for DAZN to increase the pricing. It also may be a bit of bad timing.

In hindsight Hearn belitting boxnation's £9.99 subscription is a bit silly because if i remember boxnation showed some big fights early on in their channel's history especially overseas and american cards.

DAZN doesn't offer as much as netflix does (it isn't the same after all) but i think most subscribers want the live events and not to view the back catalogue of fights from DAZN (which is uploaded to youtube anyway a day or two after)

DAZN are trying to circumvent a PPV model whilst increasing the price in turn going against sky box office.

We'll see how it goes within the next year or two if they can get more cards on the show and potential overseas fights.

I think it may be a blessing in disguise actually if Frank Warren's stable join forces on DAZN and Matchroom and Queensberry colloborate more together. It would take the pressure off Hearn whilst not having to argue about any subscription price increases in the future.

Pudding Whyte v A. Pudding confirmed for DAZN UK but struggling badly to see why people are effectively paying £5.99 per card over the year for 16 cards.

Big difference in perception of value between salesman and customer.

A lot of the criticism of Hearn/DAZN is unfair, but you are right on the money with this.

If you'd replaced the DAZN logo with Sky Sports Arena, it felt like a Sky production. Matching Sky with their experience is not a small thing, I'm sure he is chuffed.

But he needs to tone down the "levels above" stuff.

The “production values” banter has got to shop- it’s boxing and there are only so many ways you can present it.

Although I agree HBO was the gold standard it’s becoming so difficult to differentiate between outlets now- you could argue that there really isn’t much difference to the production values of Channel 5/Fightzone than DAZN/Sky bar obviously the larger crowds.

It really is terrible value, just look at the sheer amount of content Netflix and Amazon Prime offer at a similar price point. The way Boxing is organized means that you're not even guaranteed regular live content, it's not like there's a boxing league or regular tournaments.
