Just announced this afternoon. Highlights: "From 1 April 2025, DAZN will be the exclusive global broadcast partner of Queensberry Promotions, bringing its elite boxing events to fans worldwide for the first time. "DAZN to unify premium boxing content on a single platform with Queensberry joining Matchroom, Golden Boy Promotions, Misfits and others to deliver over 150 fight nights a year on DAZN." https://www.prnewswire.com/news-rel...toric-global-media-rights-deal-302294364.html
Of those 150 fight nights, I'd guess about 100 of them would be cards filled with fringe contenders and career regional level guys. Good for them to be able to make some earning, but normally something that won't get streamed if not for such case. 30 would be headed by non-title fights by top world contenders + notable prospects against overmatched guys to make it look good. 10 would have some fake belts like interim or regular or whatever. 10 would be "great" cards headed by legit world titles and will be PPV.
honestly, the nobodys are often more fun to watch than the serious guys. I’m all for this. Here’s one of my favorite examples of this: This content is protected
Yup. They put on a lot of small cards from different promoters and I love it! It´s great seeing guys like Brandon Adams compete in tournaments or even Jermain Ortiz taking a tuneup on some small card.
