This is probably the first time in Belarus' history to have two world champions in the same weight class.

 

I believe him that he can see but he also can’t see how ****ing bad his eye looks lol

 

Good stoppage. Guy looks like he has a golf ball under his eyelid.

 

Yigit is tough as nails...... Didn't expect him to last this long

Between the world series, 2 boxing cards and the UFC my brain is completely overloaded

Sox were down 0-4 in the 7th but rally with a 3 run HR to punch their way back into the game. Inb4 this one goes to extra innings as well.

 

No Yigit wasn't using the wrong game plan. He did as well as he could. He doesn't have the length to "just stay on the outside and box". He shifted and picked his spots well at times in the early rounds. He had to try to keep Baranchyk off him, and shorter punches were his best chance to land. If he stayed away Baranchyk would just walk him down and beat him up as much.

 

even though he lost wouldn't mind seeing yigit some more guys tough I will be following his career from now on

 

yigit got real heart, lacks power, but its more technique, he doesnt sit on his punches.
ivan gets planked by mikey, probably linares, if he shows any power at 140, and possibly regis.

 

Really loved Yigit's gutsy effort here.
