Jennah Creason in her professional debut took a SD over Kelsey Wickstrum in a welterweight 4-rounder.

I was still watching Jalolov win his gold medal then, before tuning into this one.

Jonathan Robert Cañas vs. Joseph Ricardo Cruz Brown, 4 rounds @ super lightweight

 

"Jaguar" Cruz is no short 140lber himself at 5'9", but this kid Johnny Cañas is six foot!

 

Cañas hurt Cruz with a stiff jab punctuating a combo with about 14 seconds left. Decent chance he gets the stoppage in the next three rounds - if he presses for it.

 

Cañas with a loud left hook on the body, reverberating through a still mostly empty but gradually filling in arena.

 

Should be shutout for Cañas.

A tough customer, is Cruz.
