I didn't see Bud taking many chances or walking him down either, they both fought scared, hoping to survive. Oh yeah, **** you and your annoying avatar.

Let me just remind you guys how they screwed SB out of his dream of becoming a world champion in his previous fight

Bohachuk was supposed to be fighting for the WBC strap against Fundora up until a couple of weeks before the fight after spending almost a full camp training for his world title shot against Fundora but then they decided to pair Fundora up with Tszyu for both the WBO and the vacant WBC belt after Thurman pulled out despite the fact Bohachuk was ranked above Fundora by the WBC, was unbeaten in his last five fights, and Fundora was coming off a KO loss.

Bohachuk had his world title opportunity cruelly robbed from him just a couple of weeks before he was due to fight for the title and they compensated him by making him WBC interim champ after beating the man who KO'd Fundora in Fundora's previous outing to facing Tszyu and then they screwed him over at a shot at the full title again after by giving the shot to what is very likely going to be Spence who is coming off a one-sided KO loss and has never fought at the weight before

Mendoza is a KO artist and he was a very risky and dangerous opponent for Bohachuk to take on a late notice, even more so given how he couldn't be more different to Fundora in terms of dimensions.

And then in his first defence of his WBC interim title he agreed to defend it against one of the most highly regarded fighters in the sport in their backyard with a home ref and three home judges. Mendoza is a very dangerous punching KO artist, Ortiz the same with a KO 100%. He took on one of the best fighters out there in his first defence of his interim and even though he was the champ, scored 2 KDs and fought his heart out and the fight was razor close ever so predictably not a single one of the three home judges scored it for him.

    I picked Ortiz to win
When I heard the draw breaker scorecards by 2 points I thought , ok for sure is going to bohochuck for the 2 knockdowns.

It was a great fight but Bohuchuck does deserve. Immediate rematch.

Just rewatched it and scored it for the first time
    I have it
    112 to 114 Bohachuk
But that man might have the most solid body in boxing right now, his jaw was impressive but the body shots he was taking were enough to put most top fighters down and he ate them all night, he barely flinched, if I was Usyk I’d be signing him up as my conditioning coach asap hahaha.
Fight of the Year for sure.
It’s fights like this that make me wonder how anyone could possibly want to watch mma and be impressed with a armbar or a choke, i will take seeing two men going through hell and back and giving everything they have.
This is why boxing will never die.

God damn . Great fight. And a greater robbery. No damn way anyone can score that fight to Vergil with the 2 knockdown.
He came back strong, fought a great fight. Can't wait to see Bud put him to sleep, he knows he lost that fight.

The score cards were all very much in the concencus ballpark, with 113-113 being what I had and 114-112 to Ortiz being the most common score aside from that. I could see 114-112 to Boha as well, and the judges scoring reflected this.

It was NOT a robbery, the fight was very close with micro-ebb and flows in each round.

Both fighters had their successes in the championship rounds and while neither really bossed the other, I felt that the adjustment Ortiz made in round 10 to box more fluidly rather than trying to KO Boha worked in his favour as I had him - albeit v closely - winning the last 3 rounds to get the draw.
