Excellent performance by Shakur Stevenson and William Zepeda.

 

Shakur beats tank for sure. Make the fight happen.

 

So we are supposed to give credit to shakur for finally finding some balls and beating an underdog LOL GTFO it was a close fight he scraped it by the skin of his ugly buck teeth.

 

7-5 or 8-4 for shakur

11-1 is ridiculous

 

Zepeda didn't land much of anything after Shakur started to rely on the shoulder roll.

 

Those scorecards are brutal. Neither boxer separated himself by more than a round or 2.

 

Seems like a lot of you based your bias on the volume of punches that Zepeda threw.

But how many of those punches actually landed on the legal scoring area?!?!?!?!?!?

Don't complain about the results of fights and call them rip offs if you can't fairly judge a fight yourself.

 

Cards were bad as expected but proper winner. Just far more effective work from Stevenson. Good fight.

Didn't mind that fight as an impartial. Skills beating out pressure. Shakur earned more respect this fight despite misdeeds in the past. Smaller ring helped make this a better fight.

 

Disgusting score cards. Not only do I think Zepeda won but there’s about 5 rounds which you’d clearly have to score his way in the fight.

They’re trying to build Stevenson up to be Mayweather. He was getting caught all night and in the first half of the fight a lot of the punches were buzzing him.

 

Huh - surprised at how wide the result was.

I had it 7-5 Shakur, but I gave Zepeda the first. So I can also see 8-4. But I guess judges just really value defence a lot more these days than anything else - cos some rounds seemed clear for Zepeda to me.

 

Scorecards were a joke but I have no issues with Stevenson winning the fight.

I'd have to rewatch the first 5 rounds again but I thought Stevenson sat on ropes too much and got outhustled in the early rounds.

Once Stevenson started to hold center ring in the 6th round he took over the fight.

I think it was more of 7-5 type win for Stevenson rather than 10-2 or 11-1 which is a joke IMO.

 

Only caught the fight from round 6 onwards. Shakur looked far more precise, Zepeda was mainly hitting arms and gloves.
