I know full well about their jabs and how good those men were. But you don't need long arms to have a great jab. Andre Ward has one of the best jabs of all time but had short arms for his weight and height. Reach really isn't anywhere near as important as you seem to think it is.

 

He passes the eye test, so to speak. Clearly has talent, and is technically solid.
But I also saw his pro debut, and he clearly needs to improve a fair bit if he has world title aspirations.

I think he has the talent for it, remains to be seen just how far he can go. Hearn wants the next Inoue, but I doubt he will get it here.
