    Round 2

Pérez is mixing a left hook into his repertoire, ripping it upstairs past Chilemba's right forearm. Looping combos by Pérez bearing down on Chliemba now with heavy pressure. Chilemba is able to wriggle and dip in the pocket to avoid damage, then shove his assailant off to reset. Pérez in no hurry, taking what the stingy Chilemba gives him for openings. Chilemba eating jabs while circling to his left. Pérez rattles off some underhanded flurries on the body. Chilemba doesn't bother lowering his elbows, calling Pérez's bluff in case the goal is to crack him open for a headhunting power shot.

    10-9 Pérez

    20-18 Pérez

Chilemba used to be decent. It’s sad to see guys fight when they can’t fight anymore bc they need a dollar.

Like he was against Egorov, Perez is shockingly one dimensional and uncreative. The Cuban amateur system is for **** since Fidel died.

    Perez 30-27.

Perez is not as impressive as some of the other up-and-comers we've seen on this card like Orobio, but he's easily winning this fight.

    Round 3

Pérez is busting through Chilemba's guard with the jab and intermittent heavy right hand. Chilemba better off avoiding them altogether by staying off the center line, which he's still able to do in spurts by cementing his feet and flopping his entire upper body around. Very energy consumptive, though. Interested to see what he does to compensate in a few rounds. Barely any offense from Chilemba.

    10-9 Pérez

harder to look good when the opponent is only trying to survive instead of trying to win.

Perez must have zero power, now Isaac is getting brave and trying to walk him down.

Did this goober just say Chilemba "grew up watching a lot of Floyd Mayweather and Terence Crawford and syncretizing their styles"?

Dude made his pro debut three years before Bud.

    Perez 50-45.

A rather dull fight - Perez is too hesitant by times, he's not coming out with aggressive combinations that might end the fight.
