People paid $80 to watch a card full of mismatches, with a main event full of pre-filled in cards.....

 

DAZN needs time to establish itself.

Yes he has a decent budget but most fighters are under at least 3-4 fight contracts so arent within reach instantly.

Netflix was **** when it first came out.

$10 isn't much tbh, so it's hard to expect to see top level cards every week.

 

Mate he only needs to put on a PPV quality card once every six months to make it a worthwhile investment. Premium channels have always been overpriced. I welcome streaming with open arms.

No idea what you are talking about, Chicago card was entertaining from start to finish. Filled with mismatches? The main event was a entertaining draw that saw both men dropped, Beterbiev vs Johnson was great Roman vs McDonnell was a entertaining late round stoppage. The only mismatches were Miller vs Adamek & the prospect bouts, and all of those didn't even go as planned. The card was a hell of a lot better and much more entertaining than the crap Warren put on the same night. Dubois vs Johnson was a boring mismatch that saw the phenom look like crap for his second fight in a row, Catterall vs Davies was on par as awful as Okolie vs Askin only Catterall vs Davies was the main event of it's show. There's still several good fights on the Boston card.

Unfortunately, there are literally no time to make changes to this card now...

 

No, Eddie Hearns is simply a better promoter

Ricky Hatton for instance was at least as popular in the UK as Joshua is yet when he was with Warren Frank kept him away from anyone remotely dangerous.

Hatton beat Tszyu who was old and semi retired and pretty much similar level to the Povetkin AJ faced and it was seen as one of the best wins in years.

There's numerous other examples but Warren simply isn't on the same level as Hearn is in terms of actual promoting.

If AJ was with hearns, after he beat Martin he would have been defending that IBF against the weakest possible voluntarily opponents at the M.e.n. Arena fight after fight

When warren ran boxing in the uk, ALL our fighters were seen as stay at home jokes.
