DAZN viewers: are you paying for membership to buy the Feb 23rd card?

Can I ask why you don’t think membership is worth it on its own? Check out how many fight nights they’re pumping out.

 

I'm going to a bar, but if I was going to watch it at home I'd only have to pay for the PPV itself.

I bought a year subscription last year the day of the 5x5 Matchroom vs Queensbury card and it’s been worth it to me so far.
I will say from someone who grew up on HBO Boxing the production quality is lacking and overall product is not as good and the sound can be very strange at times. I like how they show fights from all over the world basically.

 

Only if you are interested in low level cards. I for one am, and it´s great because over here DAZN is cheap as hell.
But if you are looking for HBO, or SHO type quality - then you arguably won´t find it on DAZN.
Most of their good cards are on PPV.

I won´t be buying this one. I had huge issues with the last Uysk card, which left a bad taste in my mouth. I won´t be buying a PPV again anytime soon.

 

Hey now, we’re the state that likes to maintain our own identity. Ain’t our fault others don’t.

I’ve lived in Texas for many years, and have also lived outside of Texas. It really is a difference. You don’t see things in other states advertised like “Made in Colorado by Coloradans”, you don’t see entire aisles in liquor stores dedicated to alcohol made in-state, etc.

Go figure.

 

In germany membership and ppv on top . You know - germans have to be sucked out to be happy .

 

some are fine. some aren’t. I’ve seen some really bad ones — I watched this entire Africa fight night that was just abysmal in terms of production quality. Looked like it was set up in a high school gym, using 20yr old equipment to film. It certainly had its own… charm. I mean, I’d certainly pay a few bucks to attend to some cheapo local event like that, but still.

Have you watched the Muy Thai stuff? The Thai teams know how to get it done. Great setups, solid production quality, and man you get some brutal KOs sometimes.

I'm Canadian, and I bit the bullet to get the card. Dunno it there were too many bars in my city (east coast) that are willing or able to show the fight.

 

I have not. I’ve checked out the bare knuckle cards a few times. Will give the muy Thai a look.

 

Señor Barrf, the wife and I have lived in Texas fro 37 of the last 39 years. I've told people that I could live here 10,000 years and not be a Texan because it would be a step down the evolutionary ladder if I did so ( I smile when I say it). You can take the boy out of the Bronx but you can NEVER take the Bronx out of the boy.

My two daughters are Texans but I love them anyway. The grandsons were born in London but their mom is transforming them into little Texans.
