My folks are New Yorkers, despite not having lived there for like 40 years, so I get it. My mom still has the Brooklyn accent even. I was actually going to say that the only place in the continental US that seems to have the same kind of strong identity as Texas would be NYC.

I don't know about the US or Canada, but in the UK it's available on Amazon and Discovery plus for about £20. I'm not sure if you need a subscription for either one but it's a lot cheaper than DAZN.

In Poland, the price for the PPV is 108 PLN, which in terms of purchasing power is roughly an equivalent to around 108 USD or even more.

UK is unbelievably crap compared to America when it comes to sports bars. Like shockingly bad. Its a missing market here for sure - although broadcasters charge a ridiculous amount to pubs, bars, restaurants, etc to show sport. Its just pubs here rather than sports bars, I love football (which always get priority over undercard boxing) but I'd much rather watch this card.

Won't mind paying to watch this card TBH, its too good of a card not to.

I have the annual dazn in the US and will pay the extra $26 to watch this card at home. Maybe I could find a sports bar showing it but with 8 fights, that's probably 8 hours or more and if I'm going to be somewhere for 8 hrs/day, I expect to be paid for it.

Besides don't you think you'll spend more than that staying at a bar or restaurant for that long?

I'm not sure for this one, but in France, you have to pay for the subscription and the PPV, which sucks a lot.
Basically almost 50 dollars the boxing evening.

If you've no real need or desire to subscribe to DAZN, anyway, then the local bar is definitely the better option. On PPV fights, they ALL should be happy with the PPV fee alone. Or, at worst, just make it a few bob more for non subscribers.

Usually a week out they offer a 7 day free trial with the PPV. I just take that, and cancel the subscription.

New Zealand based though, so Canada may differ

I've been paying for the membership for years. Just renewed it again. Bummed that it's 240 USD a year but it's still worth it for me.
