DAZN with another fire cracker :lol: Gabe Rosado vs Luis Arias co-main. Brandon Rios vs TBD as main

Looking on boxrec and I saw that Arias is suspended by the New York State Athletic Commission "indefinitely". Why is this? He wasn't KOd in his last fight, and it was a year ago anyway.

 

TBF it wouldn't be too bad if there was a load of big shows booked around it. There's always gonna be shows with fringe contenders/gatekeepers headlining and that's fine for content wise but he's gonna get flack for them unless he can constantly put bigger shows on around these.

What a steaming pile of turd. I'm starting to think Hearn is just trolling everyone with these cards and siphoning off that DAZN money into his bent old man's swiss account. Even though we know the billion was total BS, you would think he doesn't have any money at all looking at these cards.

 

Rios vs Kelly main? It’s a good way for Eddie too boost exposure for Josh in the US

I think everyone gets "suspended" post fight.

 

Rosado vs Arias is a good undercard match. But for FFS, don't have Rios headlining it.

 

The first one was a OK card with the exception of Miller-Adamek. The fights were fun and competitive.
But it was a far cry from a supposed Billion dollar deal.

The second card was OK as well, til BJS got axed.

But this one would take the cake if Rios headlines.

 

I'm actually excited for that fight.

Not a boxing fan? Rosado is the bomb, Rosado vs Arias will be a cracking fight. Rios is fighting Canelos brother Ramon Alvarez, always found Rios boring and over matched against good boxers, but Alvarez is also a slow come foward plodder like he is and while not as good as Rios, is naturally bigger. This is good match making for 4 guys who are at must win stages of their careers. Guaranteed they come to fight.

 

Can't agree. That first card was terrible IMO. Vargas and Dulorme are irrelevant fighters at this point and the other fights were horrible mismatches. Johson scoring a shock KD isn't enough to save a terrible card for me.

The Boston card was all about one star name that wasn't even with Matchroom. Hearn didn't even try to put anything on the undercard as he spent all his cash on BJS. Now he's signed some unknown and the fight isn't even gonna be for a title. It could end up being for nothing at all if BJS isn't stripped, which won't happen without a legal battle if I know fish eyes.

 

Vargas-Dulorme was a good fight. Not everyone has to be world class. You can still enjoy a fight between lower tier guys.
Like i said, it was an OK card. I enjoyed it. (but it was not some super event.)
