Card is gonna be zzzzz but i'm quite into seeing the main event, Tururov taking a wee shuffle up. One day he will fight Ergashev, and I just know it will be fun.

I wonder if Lausa-Bekman will be any use?

I have a feeling it'll be the most competitive match on the card.

A straight left hand to the body drops Nursultan Smail for a count and his pro debut is ovvvahhhh. Brave boy though, clearly very hurt by that punch he holds on until the end of the round and is retired by his corner so Bauyrzhan Beildinov rtd Nursultan Smail, take him to 6-0. Lots of learning to do for this boy though there will be no fast-track that's for sure, he was actually dropped ruled a slip by Smail.

Zholdas Zhengissov (5-0) enters to "Many Men (Wish Death Upon Me)", nice. His opponent is Asadbek Mamajonov (4-0), six rounds, featherweight I think, can't fault that match-making!

Mamajonov enters looking whistful to an Uzbek power-ballad, now I don't know who to support.

It's getting worse, Zholdas looks like my postman, but Asadbek is tiny. I'll just have to support both guys and may the best man win.

Great action in the first, although taller, Zholdas is bringing the pressure, Asadbek, clearly the crowd favourite, counters violently with combinations, what an excellent fight this is shaping up to be. They both look a bit put upon as they go back to their corners.

Some of these first-round combos are really lovely, trailing straight to the body, southpaw hook upstairs from Asdbek was to die for.

Asadbek looks to drive the action in the second, coming out and moving in, leading with uppercuts, looking for those dashing combos, this is really fun from two well-schooled fighters. Zholdas is not for letting the smaller man have it his own way though and he is landing his own dashing two-pieces from distance. I really can't stress enough how good this is for a six round preliminary, I hope some British promoters are watching, wonderful stuff. Both good jaws, both great technique.

Both cagier in the opening of the third, can't blame them really with what they been landing on each other. More violence erupts in the second minute though. Asadbek throwing both straight lefts and southpaw hooks as leads in this round, you just love to see it. My sense is that Asadbek might be able to assume control in the second half of the fight if his engine is up to it but Zholdas is ****ing tough man, he's not going away or even showing any interest in going away. Great stuff again.
