Shame you didn't hang about for this @CST80 you'd have loved it I think, Zholdas comes out winging in the fourth, gorgeous from Asadbek who just shortens his punches and goes to the jab, cooling Zholdas's jets who starts looking for his own jab in turn, better footwork from Asadbek in keeping ahead of his man a little bit, there won't be enough time for Zholdas to walk him down I don't think, though he is still working to do just that, ooooh, big left hand, nice counter right, two great punches in the final minute of the round, just when you think this is being settled something fun happens.

    What a great little fight.

I have DAZN, so maybe I'll go back later and watch the stand out matches, like this one.

Right back at it in the fifth as "Khaz-ak-stan" chants ring out in the mostly empty arena...Zholdas dropping his hands, dipping, that will suit the shorter fighter you'd think but he actually has some success with a left and a jab to the body. His right is all the way down though, unless he is looking for a rapid counter to the southpaw straight...Asadbek just hits him to the body though! Double right-handed uppercut from Asadbek, very pretty, one down one up. He likes that punch, looks for it again, gorgeous one-two in response though.

Sixth round, they look the same height, Zholdas Zhengissov might be knackered, he is certainly drooping. His punches remain stiff though and despite the referee stepping in to warn for elbows and heads in this round, it's remained excellent, clean, and absolutely great fun. I haven't been scoring it but my sense is Asadbek Mamajonov did the better work throughout six absolutely superb, closely contested rounds.

The winner here could really go on to achieve something I think, the loser too for that matter. I'd like to see both box again.

Judges: 59-55 x2 and 58-56, Zholdas Zhengissov the winner by UD.

Russian journeyman Ruslan Berchuk (14-15-1) who has won one of his last five is presumably elected victim for 4-0 130lb prospect Zhandos Kydyraliyev, who is wearing a fetching pair of white and black tiger-print shorts. Berchuk very very willing but getting popped with a stiff left jab in the second, I missed the first round because of a works call, selfish.

Pretty dull this one, Kydraliyev is missing a lot except with that jab, he's trying the things we saw Zhengissov and Mamajonov try but he is not meeting with the same success. You can't even say it is down to Berchuk's savvy veteran status (Relatively) because he is winging fast first mostly. Can't win them all I suppose.

To be fair, these boys are scrapping it out, nothing shy about either of them for all it is a little low on quality. Probably will be better than every fight on the up-coming Joshua-Franklin card including Joshua-Franklin  Some cool wee touches too, the glove taps at the end and beginning of each round, they respect one another despite what looked like a bad-tempered beginning. Kydraliyev will presumably get a decision via the cleaner punching in what was a scrappy affair.

    Judges: 60-54 UD For Kydraliyev.

    Serikbayev TKO1 Klulbayev.

Tough debut. Towel comes in as a booming right hand goes over the top.

Alikhan Tulenbayev (3-0) vs Maksat Osmonov (0-0) at 135bs over 4.

Khazak Tulenbayev got 2 by KO but he might be in trouble here as Osmonov is coming in to Smells LIke Teen Spirit, type one Kazak haircut, enters the ring with three dangerous-looking *******s, he's supposedly 29 and making his debut (probably been in jail or working as a mercenary in South African security) but looks about forty, all red flags.

Osmonov using puncless pressure in the first round, someone obviously told him to keep his hands high and he's sticking to it. Tulenbayev feels safe enough to wing in shots rather than box, but he does so infrequently. Eventually traps his man on the ropes and lets loose but falls over when Osmonov tries to escape. Nothing doing in this fight I fear.

Alikhan Tulenbayev UD4 Maksat Osmonov, 40-36x3

Tulenbayev going nowhere i'm afraid. One more round probably would have been enough to get Osmonov out of there, but Osmonov might have been pulled off the taxi rank for all I know.

Adlan Selmurzayev (5-0) vs Azamat Belgozhin (0-0) at 168lbs over 6.

Selmurzayev is a Kazak with a type 2 Kazak haircut and one of those Khabib beards, could be dangerous. Belgozhin described as a "respected" amateur is making his debut, comes into American hip hop with loads of swearing, has been reported as both 26 and 30 in the space of two minutes so **** knows what is happening there.

These boys are ready to go, both in range, Belgozhin looking to step too so they are moving from long to just less than long during exchanges. Clearly neither man is a big puncher, but both are busy, Belgozhin might thave the better jab you know. All the steam has gone from his work after 90 seconds though, he looks to me like one of these guys who hasn't learned to breath properly yet whatever his amatuer background - Selmurzayev appears no great shakes but he's enjoying the range and clearly out-landing his man.

Belgozhin has lost all sense of organisation and looks knackered, looking for the ropes, throwing arm punches with nothing on them. He'll likely fade for a fourth-round stoppage loss.
