Make that two: he basically just kept punching at his man until he was pulled. Belgozhin seems delighted about it. Probably a little premature, but not really. Referee is entitled not to like what he sees there.

    Adlan Selmurzayev TKO2 Azamat Belgozhin

Dauren Yeleussinov (10-2-1) vs Bakhrom Payazov (22-21) at 168lbs over 6.

Man, imagine what's on the line for Payazov here? Is he a winning fighter or not? Puncher Dauren Yeleussinov would say not, let's find out!

Holy ****, Yeleussinov is not for hanging around, comes out winging mad hooks, cross arm defence with the southpaw left, which he throws less. Payazov just backing up and looking, do not blame him. Extraordinary trunks Yeleussinov is wearing they look like they were designed by children, grey with red and black diamond arrangements with gold tassels from thigh to knee on a black stripe. Payazov, also a southpaw, seems to have established that there is more heat than light here and is starting to work his own jab and hook.

Savage beltline work drops Payazov in the second, he's doing that no-pro thing over trying to avoid them by making his body far away on the ropes while protecting his head, and Yeleussinov just opens up left-right-left. He's dropped again, primarily with bodyshots, but it was a left hand to the ear that was the final punch to land.

    Yeleussinov TKO2 Payazov.

All madness this, some hot chick in a PVC coat came up and addressed the crowd, I think she's a promoter or attatched to the promotion, then a mad rapper came up and did an acapella verse followed by a really bad, unenthusiastic mime to whatever hit it is he's got going. He's not rapping anyone to the ring, he's just doing this as a part of the show. I love Kazakhstan. He is doing the whole ****ing bit anyway, met by total indifference. Apart from one guy in a Union Jack hat in the front row.

Yelkhan Tabynbayev (5-1) vs Malkhaz Sujashvili (12-23) 168lbs over 6.

Tabynbayev, who lost his last fight to a Brazilian visitor in December, is being fed the Georgian professional loser Sujashvili, who hasn't won a fight since 2019 and has lost a lot. Hopefully he finds a way to turn the local prospect.

I'm not sure what this fight is doing on the "main broadcast" which I think means we are now live on Kazak tv, seems a really weird selection. Presumably Tabynbayev is news over there. A very pretty jab-feint opening up Sujashvili for the right hand to the body brightens it though and Tabynbayev marches in to the body attack opening up the head. This should be a short night for the Georgian. I feel bad for him, hopefully he gets a few quid - down he goes, bodyshot drops him, he's quit basically.

    Tabynbayev KO1 Sujashvili

Maybe he didn't quit, that may have been harsh it looked an absolutely awful punch to get hit with in the replay.

Balaussa Muzdiman (1-0) vs Zukhra Isirailova (0-0)

It's a girl! Her name is Balaussa Muzdiman! She looks kinda hot in a fun hat! And ye olde tunic. Yeah, I like that a lot. There's another girl! Her name is Zukhra Isirailova. This is her debut and she looks ****ing really nervous. She has corncrows but no hat and is also kinda pretty. Good luck girls!

I'm not overegging this, Muzdiman looks cool as ****, she looks like something out of Star Wars, with really long braids whipping about as she punches, all in blue, chin down, hands up, hands mobile, landing hurtful right hands. She looks cool af and she will not be allowed that hair if she comes west. Footwork a bit pedestrian, god damn good timing though, keeping her punches stiff.

Round has only 30 seconds left, this is why don't **** with female boxing, 2 minute rounds are of so little interest to me, but Muzdiman has charisma IMO.

Muzdiman won every minute of that round but Isirailova never stopped trying, fair ****ing play to her. She looked delighted to be there too very cool look. I was wrong, also, about Muzdiman's footwork, she brighten considerably in the second and has been showing good movement ever since. Can't break eggs though, landing hard punches and getting little reaction.

A waste of time though. If she is fighting 2-minute rounds and has amateur experience, put her in an 8-round fight, it's sixteen minutes.

Bekman Soylybayev (15-1) vs Jenel Lausa (11-0-1) at 130lbs over 10.

Soylybayev (Kazakhstan) dropped a split over eight a few months back and has been doing good work to right it since. Lausa (Philippines) is unbeaten and has a similar 8 round MD blip, this time a draw. Kazak enters the ring first in a cool as **** gold an dblack robe and black gloves, yesssssss, this is what Dempsey would have worn I reckon if he was born in 2001. Filipino arrives in an armless tunic in the colours of his country, I would wear that, can't tell if those gloves are purple or black. Based upon the ring walks and music, this will be a split draw. Oh, Filipino does a sincere prayer with one hand on the ring steps to make that an SD for Lausa! Let's find out.
