Here we go again. Hearn isn't going anywhere for a while. He will be tied to Canelo for years to come. Fielding is a Hearn guy. So are Andrade and Jacobs. And his own stable is slowly growing. But the next 6 months should be telling. PBC is slowly gearing up for when their deal with FOX starts. TR is planning out it's rest of 2018 and early 2019. GBP is likely setting up it's next card on DAZN. It will be interesting to see who Hearn can sign in the coming months. If he doesn't sign anyone, then things will get rough.
Why would they cut Hearn? Now he's the easiest promoter for Oscar to deal with. Oscar has a stable and he's gonna match it up with Hearn's stable and possibly WBSS.
Dazn Perform are a UK company. Tbh they must like Hearn because Dazn should have just got Hearn on a UK contract for his UK fights & then waited until Haymon was free & signed him on a deal. Canelo signing is good for Hearn if fighters are willing to sign for the Dazn/Hearn deal. He needs some good names in the next year.
and replace his content with what? I don't think some people understand what Hearn is doing for DAZN.
Safe to say Canelo was GBP's Trojan Horse to get into DAZN's inner sanctum, and offering Fielding a fight was a canny way of getting past Hearn and on the inside to hoover up a fair chunk of the $1bm Eddie thought was in his back pocket to spend. There's not a cat in Hell's chance Oscar will just hand over control of Canelo's career to anyone and in one fell swoop Canelo and Oscar have seemingly become the single most important influence on the platform's future. Hearn needs more than ever for Joshua to remain at the top of the tree. Game on....
The obsession with Hearn and his hopeful downfall is hilarious and quite worrying at the same time on here!!
Hearn and ODH unifying under the DAZN umbrella reminds me of when Hulk Hogan and Macho Man united to form the Mega Powers.
He also has Callam "the plank" smith as the REAL champ at 168. That fight be available for Canelo if he looks good against fielding. the plank is easier than the other champs at 168
I don't give two ****s about promoters one way or another hearns Oscar all I care about is fights being made and not marinated
Just a couple of questions if I may. 1, what makes you think they will freeze out, other than Canelo hes been a big part of most the decent, half decent signings they have made. And 2, why do you care? Is this any more than a cheap and lame dig at Eddie Hearn for nothing more than lame bitter reasons.
That’s good for us fans, could end up seeing brook vs mungia canelo vs smith would be some really good fights.
