Who in their right mind would want to give Haymon more money to waste putting his guys out once a year often against the softest opponent he thinks he can match them against?

With showtime still in the picture this won't happen but the more control over boxing DAZN has the more they'll raise the rates. Right now everyone loves DAZN including myself but I know where this is going the more DAZN gains control. They're probably going to add some other live events to justify them raising the prices which we don't care about. Sadly most of us will all just give in.

:beer-toast1: Totally agree. In the end it will do far more harm than good, and make even more of a niche sport that's its been here in the States. Most people hate apps and dealing with them or signing up for internet streaming services. Especially boxing fans, who to this day are still largely pretty practical working class no frills types.

Well 10 dollars is definitely reasonable for the working class. I just have a feeling that once DAZN gains control which they prove they have the ability to, they rates could go up to 29.99. I'm out then. I'm not paying 360 dollars a year. Dazn will probably be like here's some shitty live music events and sports you don't care about. That'll be an extra __$.

 I didn't know. DAZN is going to take complete control soon then I guess lol. Do you think they'll keep it at 10 dollars? I feel like they'll raise it to 15 next, then 19.99, then 29.99.

Not right away. They can't justify 10 to 29.99. They'll increase it by 5 dollars increments. Bump this one year from now. The first year will be a trial year and they need to garner loyalty and numbers. So they'll keep it low. After a year and if their brand is doing well, they'll raise it.

They showed Garcia/Porter, Santa Cruz/Mares II, Spence/Ocampo for example.

I don't know, i only can speak for Germany / Europe and i think they won't raise it as they will lose the Premier League next year and it's a big blow for them, i do not see them raising their subscription only for boxing / UFC but if they would do it i would pay. It's a great service with tons of sports.

I mean for me as an European / GErman it's almost impossible to watch those bigger british cards or us cards without DAZN. And 10 Euro per month it's worth for me. I would even pay 20.

I mean loook...how much you would have paid for Clenelo/GGG II as a PPV? Dazn showed it and i paid 9,99 for the month where they showed it + they offered tons of other sports + Joshua/Povetkin card....for example.
    It's worth the money.

Sky nearly monopolised boxing in Great Britain, and Any half decent fight became Ppv... now a few fighters have left sky to box on other channels and they’re all Ppv.. costs a fortune to follow boxing here

Well netflix used to be 5 dollars a month and they doubled it. The thing is Netflix isn't a monopoly. There's Hulu, Amazon Prime, etc. If DAZN gains control of 90% of boxing, it's not the same situation. They have serious leverage.
