    No way would I ppv on a platform that is already a subscription service platform, and the only reason for said platform is "boxing". That's just dumb. Now it is an interesting fight, because it's gonna show how much Golovkin has aged. Murata will definitely check under the hood and see if there's any service engine soon lights on. But PPV? Nah.

    To be fair it seems this decision hasn't been followed through on or perhaps this rumour was all bollocks so either way you can be thankful that this won't be PPV and maybe DAZN won't chance it for a while yet.

    I read in a article that it is blacked out in Kazakhstan and Japan, otherwise it's DAZN, not a word about ppv.

    And they better not chance it ever, would be a slap in the face to their subscriber base. DAZN would die as a source for boxing if it began having ppv.

    What are people paying the boxing subscription for? Why is Golovkin vs a scrub a PPV? I pity any fools who pay for that garbage.

    It’s not PPV but Murata is no scrub. According to Asianboxing this is the biggest fight with a Japanese boxer ever in Japan.
