    Jonathan Steven Gruber is from out my way, it seems. (Fall River, MA)

    My instinct was to root for him, until seeing the last round or two and hearing confirmation from the commentators of what @The Professor's scorecard indicates, that he got totally outclassed and shut out by the six-years-younger & six-inches-taller fellow American southpaw.

    Metcalf can't be 5'7" with a 54" reach. That would be tyrannosaurus rex looking. Looking at her, the announcers and graphics had to have their stats wrong.

    Yoshida is spearing right hands into the midriff of her much taller opponent. Yoshida reaching up with a planking jab on the way in, not closing the distance with it. Metcalf is able to circle and place her own very long & spindly jab. Double and triple jabs by the American, clinching when Yoshida gets frustrated and rushes her.
