Ha. Overrated. Love this. He’s lost once, to Jon Jones. He’s a beast. Olympic level wrestler, great kickboxer and a double weight champion. Something tells me he’s anything but afraid. He’s one of my favorite fighters. Great guy. I hope he gets a massive payday against Brock.
He would beat Stipe 10 out of 10 times, he connected on him with ease just about each time he threw a punch..Stipe was showing signs of not a great chin in previous fights especially against Reem, just a glancing shot wobbled him. He also doesn't have the cardio to keep with DC. He was looking pretty gassed after 2 rounds against Francis and that was a slow paced fight. Jon PED Jones. Only time we have seen him fight clean since USADA was against an untrained out of shape OSP and he didn't look all that confident to engage even when he had him open on the ground. The roids also give the mindset you can't be hurt...With out them against DC he may mentally fold. He has beaten every other heavyweight he faced with ease and never backed down from a challenge. The guy deserves a payday he has never taken short cuts like the other roid munchers.
The hate is real. Some people are still mad that the brown complected Humpty Dumpty dribbled Miocic's head on the canvas. Imagining numerous eye pokes, to console themselves and to try and discredit Cormier.
I'm not a big fan of older guys only taking the money fights, but if anybody deserves it, it is Cormier. He has one of the best resumes ever in the sport, even with the Jones losses.
