Looks like A.J wants another tune up fight before Wilder and by god he needs it ... I know this fight has almost no chance of happening but say DDD gets well beat by Usyk without taking a beating I'd love to make this all UK fight for end of year.. I think it would be a well matched bout Who you got and how ?
Genuine 50/50 fight that ends when first meaningful punch lands. Got to go with DDD if I have to leave my seat on the fence.
Dubois got flattened by a cruiserweight in Kevin Lerena. Joshua would stop him and receive no credit. How has Dubois received a World Title shot? His best wins are Trevor Bryan and Joe Cusumano. There's a reason why Dubois hasn't fought any top contenders since Joyce. I think Demsey McKean could beat Dubois to be honest.
If Joshua is so powerful, explain why he failed to put a dent in Usyk twice, Ruiz twice, Parker, Takam and even Franklin? Why won't he fight Bakole next in what would be a great fight for both at the right time? I think who hits first wins between Josh and DDD with DDD having a 50/50 chance of landing first due to Joshua's fear of being hit.
I was originally going to do the poll aj v bakole but I think that fight is even less likely than DDD.... You can see the narrative of who didn't get beat as bad by Usyk sets up AJ V DDD... Thinking about it old Bricktop would probably chuck DDD in with AJ
I like you as a poster but don't be biased. Joshua knocked Ruiz down in the first fight. In the second fight his aim was to win on points and not take any risks at all. Usyk has a great defence - to be fair Joshua did hurt him to the body in round 9 of the second fight. Franklin and Takam were smaller, more awkward opponents who were only in there to survive once they realised the levels of Joshua. Dubois went the distance with Kevin Johnson who Joshua stopped in a few rounds - does that mean Joshua punches 10 times harder than Dubois? They are both big punches but Joshua has proven his punch power at a much higher level than Dubois has. Nowadays Joshua doesn't really load up on his shots. Like I said, there's a reason why Dubois has only fought one top contender in Joe Joyce who he lost to. Bakole and Billy Nelson pulled out of the Michael Hunter rematch because apparently Bakole has something "big" planned. Let's see. I don't understand why you hope Bakole up so much after his stoppage defeat to a cruiserweight in Michael Hunter, especially since you clown on Joshua for his loss to Ruiz.
That could be said for all heavyweight fights though. From their careers so far, Joshua is a much more complete fighter than Dubois. You always criticise Joshua for quitting against Ruiz, but didn't Dubois also quit against Joyce? I don't think Dubois has a chance against Usyk unless Usyk has aged overnight, which is possible since he is 37 and would have been out of the ring for a year. Watch how quickly Fury vs Dubois will be made if Dubois beats Usyk. If Shane McGuigan and Mark Tibbs thought that Dubois would achieve something notable in the heavyweight division, they would have done more to continue training him.
joshua was put over by fat middleweight thats what wee ruiz is in reality you cant blame folk for picking dubois joshua wouldn't beat dubois in a month of sundays dubois has fantastic jab hes fast hes powerful he would over welm Joshua thats the best way to put it
Whilst I think you're probably right here, was the father not something to do with it? That being said Caroline is still with the McGuigans right, so the old man can't have been that bad...
Joshua beats DDD easily, Dubious has a better chance against Usyk then Joshua. If AJ Wilder isn’t next (twitter seems to think Saudis have pushed to March now) I think Joshua will fight Washington as a run out or if they want a test Bakole. Beats both handily
