I realise he will probably be harder to hit than Diaz, but could he take those shots when he inevitably does get tagged? I don't know much about Diaz, but the one thing that came through from the commentators during the Pac fight is that Diaz is known for his durability.
As well as he being handpicked He was tough and pretty brave, but far too slow to deal with someone like Pacquiao. Most of the top LW's would have ate him for breakfast as well.
I think its debatable whether Hatton could take those punches without cutting or getting stopped but Diaz was just waiting there to get hit. If Hatton gets hit with those type of punches it will mean he's lost the fight stylistically in any case.
