Who takes this 15 rounder at 135 pounds.

Two defensively minded fighters so it would certainly be chess match.

Would De Jesus be able to time Ken and out point him, or would Ken force Esteban onto the front foot and make him miss all nighthe?

Esteban Dejesus defensive minded? That's news to me. DeJesus was an offensive fighter.

I think it's a close fight. Both are pretty underrated. It all depends on what type of fight it turns into. A boxing match favors Ken. A war favors DeJesus.

    Do you reckon?

I've not seen Esteban footage for a while now but I always thought he was a similar boxer to Marquez.

The most recent fight of his I watched was the loss to Cervantes.

I'm due to watch some more of him shortly though so maybe I remembered it wrong.

Buchanan would have to be at his absolute best to beat DeJesus. Ken would lose the early rounds as he was a slow starter and DeJesus was at his most dangerous early. The mid rounds would swing both ways but I see Ken running away with the later rounds like he usually did to edge a points win.

    DeJesus was a better fighter.

The question is whether or not you think Buchanan had a stylistic advantage. I do not. I think that DeJesus was neither offensive or defensive in instinct but a pragmatic fighter who was very talented. Watt used similar pragmatism to trouble Buchanan and DeJesus is a whole other level. I don't think Buchanan would have great success with his exaggerated defensive moves; i think DeJesus would find him out pretty quick and beat him up a bit.

Buchanan was past his best when he scraped a win against Watt. I think a prime full flow Buchanan would give DeJesus lots of problems if he boxes and moves. If he gets dragged into a fight he loses. I'm not sure DeJesus can force his will on Buchanan like Duran did. Duran was an extremely mobile pressure fighter. I think DeJesus was a fantastic fighter but stylistically Ken could win this if he's at his best and boxes smart with his superior Jab and mobility.
