the p4p list in ring is voted for by a big panel of judges, not by oscar himself, and it's probably the same panel who voted before oscar took over.

I like Hatton but if he beats Pac, even by KO, he should not become P4P#1. But neither should Pac stay at #1. Pac would probably move down to 4-5 and Hatton would be 3-4. That's fair because you're basically then saying that Hatton is the better fighter, but not the P4P best.

JMM would most likely be #1 but that's where it gets complicated, because Pac has beaten JMM so would still stake his claim as #1.

So Hatton would have to beat them both to top the list.

You think it's a headache now? Imagine if Hatton beats Pac by an SD or close UD and then JMM beat Hatton in another close contest. THAT would be a headache.

I dont think it would be so outrageous to call him P4P #1. After all he is "The man" at 140, Kostya Tszyu was P4P #4 when he beat him and José Luis Castillo was ranked P4P #8.
He destroyed Malignaggi who was the #1 contender in his weight class if he followed this up by Knocking out the current P4P champ i wouldnt be baffeld by him being crowned P4P champ.
