I think Pac stepped in the ring at 144 lbs in his last fight and Oscar 167 LBS. against Mayweather. Thus, in anything over four rounds PAC should make sure that that the contract has a same day weigh in if fighting at 148. Pac should also do a heck of alot of research on what glove weight should go in the contract as well.

I dont think going by a boxers first fighting weight is as good a criteria as say walk-around-weight because individuals can have vastly different growth patterns (some seem to grow a whole foot in a year) and especially when comparing northern and tropical based fighters or developed against developing countries.

I also believe that skull thickness, punch psi, reflexes, and defence are greater factors toward dominance than a 20 lbs. weight difference . That said, I think someone with more of a boxer style would have a better chance against bigger guys than an endurance slugger like PacMan.

I think if this fight happens Oscar will take a dive like in a Hopkins fight & sign Pacman as a business partner.:deal

According to richard Sheafer the hollywood high rollers wont know the difference and boxing fans (fanatics) will most definately pay and all the while Oscar is saying "well I tried it against Bernard now lets see the little Mexican assassin try it:twisted: ".

This fight would never happen. It would be a disgrace to the sport to say the least.

Hold on? are you talking as if DLH made that statement and is calling MP?

This stuff is coming from the wild imagination of a couple of drunk guys, not from DLH himself.

If you are just messing around then alright.

the dumbest part of this whole article is

"And if Pacquiao loses, so what? It doesn't hurt him. He goes back to fight at lightweight"

that shits just stupid. you saw what happend to meldrick taylor after the fight against chavez? he was never the same. 1 is a lot of things. the writer made it seem that pac could take a dive against oscar, take the money and move back to 130. it doesn't happen that way. knowing pac, he would try his darndest to stay in the fight and that will get him hurt.

this is a dumb idea. they are almost 30 pounds apart. the greats at 122 will have a very hard time if they face pac at 130 and that is justa an 8 pound difference. imagine calderon taking on pac at 130 then you can have an idea what dlh-pac will look like. good big man is always better than a good small man.

the only way this fight has a chance of coming true is if they agree to weigh at 145 at fight night, which is not happening. dlh will have to get rid of his boxing trunks and wear his fishnet stockings to the match in order to make that weight

I'm not even campaigning for this. Larry Merchant I guess is more of a diehard Pac fan than me. Since he suggested this here's my take:

This fight will be meaningless for DLH's legacy if he wins, & if he lose, it will be an embarassment. But this will be nothing compare to the Cross Dressing Pix Embarassment. But what DLH can gain is more Money to the Bank. He co-Promotes Pac, Fighting him will cross over Pac to the Mainstream Audience just like what happened to PBF after he beat DLH. Therefore by passing the torch to Pac he'll make more Money in Pac's future fights. Plus the Fight will generate a lot of Money too & it will be a Guaranteed Action fight. It will sell easy.

For Pac to take this, he needs to Prove he can beat the best at 135 first. He needs to beat Diaz/Casa impressively By KO & he needs to make it look so easy. Beating the best 135 pounder will propel Pac to #1 P4P. Pac should be the one Calling DLH after this fight.

If Pac KOs Diaz, it will create a mystic on how Great his Power really is. Expert will Hype Pac as Little Super Fighter & question will be Raised like " Is Pac the Best P4P fighter ever????" One fighter going for Greatness & the other one Looking for One last Memorable fight.

DLH definitely will be the Favorite for the fight. He's the Bigger & Taller guy. But quickness & youth belong to Pac. Roach also said Pac's Punch has more Pop than DLH. DLH just have more weight behind his punch while Pac has more Velocity & Frequency. Pac has the Chance to beat DLH if he use his quickness & a little bit more Defensive. Pac also in not vulnerable to Left hook(DLH's best punch). MAB best punch also is a left hook & if you watch his fight with Pac he's missing a lot of those LH.

The Problem with this Fight will be the Credibility of the Fight because of DLH's Co-Promotional interest with Pac. A lot of fans will think that they could Fix the fight in any way they want it to look like. I still Prefer Pac vs PBF, it will sell as well because of contrasting personality. Good vs Badboy, #1 vs #2 P4P & Prime vs Prime. But If I am Pac, I definitely Take a DLH fight if offered coz the Money will be Good $15-20M easy.

Everybody now Calling Pac for Fight. I won't be surprise if PBF will try to Call Pac after he beat Hatton. PBF will make more Money fighting Pac than Mosley, Cotto, Williams or Cintron.
