    oscar:
    "I've never had a problem with Bob Arum. I have to appreciate what he did for my career. Me, personally, I have no problem whatsoever with Bob. You never know," said De La Hoya. "You never know what can happen in the near future. As far I know, Bob has no problem with me, and I have no problem with him. That's the bottom line. In boxing, you never know what can happen."

    But Schaefer had a different view on Arum.

    "Personally, I do have a problem with Bob Arum, and nothing has changed as it relates to my position. I have no intention of working with Top Rank or with Bob Arum. Too much has happened and I have no interest in ever working with him again," said Schaefer.

    "As it relates to OscarÂ… Oscar has talked a lot of s__t about Arum, and Arum has talked a lot of s__t about Oscar. But, if, at this point Oscar wants to forgive, then I am happy for those two that they can make up. But I have no intentions of working with Top Rank or Bob Arum."

    This is a terrible style matchup for Pacquiao. No way he takes this fight at this point.

    We know Canelo wants it. He can partially redeem himself for getting schooled so badly by Floyd. Pac's style is more suited for Canelo. I'm giving the edge to CANelo. I see Pac going to sleep again. Manny needs this fight as much as Canelo needs it. Manny's stock is **** after another borefest with Feather Storm Bradley.

    Exactly. Bradley is better than every opponent Floyd has fought in the last few years.

    Floyd fans don't want this to happen because Canelo was Floyd's biggest accomplishment. :lol:

    Pac will make Floyd look bad again after he beats Canelo. :hi:

    Canelo can't even make 154
    He was extremely drained when he fought Floyd and he was forced to come down to 152 and even needed a chair during weigh in. Canelo hasn't fought at 154 since then which shows how drained he was

    I wouldn't get too worked up about seeing Pac face Canelo any time soon.
    The only way it will happen is if;

    1. Arum gets on his knees and apologizes to Schaefer for being an absolute ass.
    2. Oscar fires Schaefer from being GBP CEO
    3. Pac leaves TR and goes to GBP

    Canelo is his own boss. He doesn't owe anything to Schaefer. If Canelo wants the fight with Pac and viceversa (assuming TR/Arum do want it too), Schaefer will have no option but to make the fight. Just like how Canelo was pushing for the Mayweather fight he will push for the Pac fight if all of this is true. Canelo is not one to be timid to his promoter.

    The only problem is Arum. Does he really want to "make up" with GBP? And if so, on what network will the fight take place at?
