I dont get why this guy is even talked about anymore, I respect that he was a good fighter, would fight anyone but now whats the deal.If he wasnt good looking and Charasmatic he would have been forgotten about 3-4 fights ago, I dont understand why people still throw his name about like he is still live.Im sure the other fighters 154 and below love him though, he'll keep it within 4-5 points but its an easy win for anyone who is top 2-4 in a weight class from 140-154 and gets the major exposure and money.Anytime his name is mentioned I just think, yeah he wont get knocked out, he'll keep it within 4 points or so but he'll lose and they both walk away with a boatload of cash.Makes a bit of a mockery of the sport if you ask me.

He gave Floyd a tough fight because he was out of his Depth weight-wise.John Ruiz would knock floyd in to next week doesnt mean I think he should be talked about.

You can make a case about the weight but still he made it a close fight and should be given credit for it. As far as the Ruiz example is concerned, it means absolutely nothing simply because you're using a heavyweight and a Welterweight in an example which makes no sense whatsoever. Also, don't forget that DLH and PBF both broke all boxing PPV records in an era where people say "Boxing is dead", you might want to appreciate his precense for bringing major fights and when he steps in the ring he attracts everyone all over the world. If you refuse to appreciate and admit that he's a great thing for boxing and would like to stay in denial then I'm done discussing.

He is one of the top promoters, extremely rich, was a successful fighter, is still fighting, gave floyd a good fight. He is still seen at his press conferences and stuff, is in the audience in some fights. Gives interviews etc. The man is a star...
If someone is fighting him there's the most money on the table, good looking, pretends to be a good guy etc. Want 10 more reasons?
