    That's a cliché answer. Nothing boring about Hopkins reign in the middleweight division.

    De La Hoya is always better after a defeat.

    It's too bad he never came back from retirement to fight Golovkin...cause that would have been fun to watch for about 1 round.

    In their prime, DLH wasn't big enough to fight GGG. In fact, DLH fighting GGG would have been like GGG fighting Ward, in terms of size.

    But I agree with you, had they stepped into the ring, DLH wouldn't have lasted long.

    He may have the stats and the longevity but he was as boring as they get. I always hated watching his fights. The guy was a con man through and through. He would always hit guys low and on the hip constantly on the opposite side of where the ref was. Then if anyone retaliated he would act like he was going to die. I hate guys like that. About as unscrupulous as they come.
