    Thats part of it but the waiting for the fight to marinate is complete b.s! Id bet anyone here $1,000 dollars if GGG struggles against Brook but still wins Oscar will change his tune real quick. The truth is theyre waiting for GGG to look beatable. Plain and simple.

    Basically the fight will only happen when GGG is ripe for the picking. When too old and vulnerable for Canelo.

    Screw the fight! My main concern is how much Canelo and GGG will be making when they make this fight in three more years. I hope Canelo still keeps the #1 P4P purse ranking by that time! Their bank accounts are more important to us than the actual boxing.

    Logic says that its and unavoidable eventuality. It was only after Martinez struggled with both Macklin and Barker, that the team around Chavez Jr found enough faith in their fighter to put him in the ring with Martinez.

    There's high risk in letting a fight marinate too long (see Juanma/Gamboa). Comparing these guys to Floyd/PAC is just wrong as those two were worldwide superstars. If the fight doesn't happen in the next year or two, odds are something will derail all the money they think they are making by letting it marinate.

    As I recall, The MIDDLEWEIGHT Championship fights were ;
    Canelo Vs Khan PPV doing approx. 600,000 buys which was less than Caeno Vs Cotto which draw 900,000 PPVs.
    Not huge, but considering the current MW unified championship fight between Gennadyy Golovkin and David Lemieux did less than 120,000 buys, it shows the lack of appeal of the MW division.
