Oscar is just trying to promote this farce. If he really thought Khan had a chance, he wouldn't have made the fight.

Oscar bragged he wanted the winner of Margarito-Cotto as his final fight to
"Go out in a blaze of glory" ROFLMAO Till he saw what Margarito did to Cotto. So he picked on little Manny BIG MISTAKE The rest is history
But at least Oscar didn't come in the ring @ 170 + like El Pollo will

    !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!WAR KHAN !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Haha this isn't even close to a mega fight. Oscar is just being a promoter. Canelo and Khan are no names past the hardcore boxing fan base. Oscar was a household name and considered a celebrity. Canelo is no celeb lol. These guys are just today's weak boxing stars.

    I agree with DLH.
If Khan was so easy why did both Mayweather and Pacquiao bypass him in favor of taking fights for less money against other opponents.
Fighters like Berto, Guerrero, Rios, Algieri, Bradley........

A speedy fighter like Khan is never to be taken lightly.
The comparisons DLH point out are real. There is similarities between his situation and Canelo's today.
Back then, DLH turned down facing Margarito who had just stopped Cotto, in favor of the much smaller Pacquiao, thinking facing a midget would be easier.

With Canelo now, he's holding off a Golovkin fight in favor of Khan who's stereotyped as having a weak chin, but like Pacquiao is very fast.
    Parrallels are valid!

Khan is only fast in the hands (With the weight gain, he'll be slower). His head is slow at getting away from punches. Khan ate a platter of right hands from Algieri.

ODLH went down a weight class and was drained, Saul Alverez is fighting at a weight he is comfortable in.

Khan is not on anywhere near the run Pacquiao was on at the time

Khan has lost to most decent fighters he has faced

Honestly , will be surprised if Khan sees round 12. He has been cherry picked and to be honest it is the best pay day out there for him. Think he will retire soon.

Oh get out of here with that. Pac vs Oscar are 2 ATGs, one at the bitter end of his career and one at his highest point of his prime. And Oscar chose the easier fight!? Oscar chose the toughest fight available to him and that was proved in the ring. Oscar would have outboxed Marg easily, even that faded version. Look at what washed up Mosley did to him! Your just being a troll though.

You talk shid like you know what you're talking about, but does your mind recall Canelo fighting Trout, and Lara?

GBP and Canelo have proven to take on all comers...

GGG will get his shot at the new Golden Boy, but he needs to be a "Good Boy" first and stop thinking he's some kind of mega star. :deal

lol How much are you betting on Khan? Khan doesn't have a chance and you know it. Alvarez could have at least fought with a contender at 160 but that would have been too dangerous for GB productions.

I thought I read the odds are 4 to 1 in this fight. I think those are remarkable. I hope Khan somehow wins but I'm pretty sure he gets BKTFO. 4 to 1... wow.

Give me your top 3 favorite fighters and I will show you that they have taken on soft touches on more than one occassion.

If anyone deserves a pass right now its a fighter like Canelo who has taken on very dangerous and very low reward fighters like Lara, Trout, even Angulo and Kirkland, not to mention Cotto and Mayweather, two very highly skilled and elite fighters.

So now GGG has taken step aside money TWICE, once from Cotto and once from Canelo, and instead fought a Monroe and a Wade fighter, lower caliber than Khan in fact. GGG hasn't even made any serious attempts to make a big fight happen with any top elite fighter and GGG's fans are acting like little bisnatches. :huh:patsch

Canelo has paid his dues, and proven to fight anyone, so before I give GGG the benefit of the doubt, I will give it to a fighter like Saul who has shown he will fight anyone.

I am not arguing in favor of Golovkin. He obviously is willing to put up with Alvarez's bs in the hopes that he may have a big payday down the line. I am also willing to give Alvarez a pass on this Khan "fight". Let's hope this type of fight is the exception and doesn't become the rule.

What bs is that? Canelo has worked very hard, harder than most active top fighters including Golovkin and deserves the big paydays and should take advantage of them.

The bs is Golovkin taking step aside money after step aside money and then complaining that the same people he takes that money from are avoiding him.. GGG gots you guys fooled. :yep
