“Pacquiao is good, there’s no doubt about it,” De La Hoya said. “And he’s fast. I thought there were 10 of him in there. I’m looking here and he’s over there. And I’m reacting to a punch from this way and there’s another coming at me from that way." - Oscar De La Hoya 9/16/09 http://sports.yahoo.com/box/news;_ylt=AlFsY3B1dOKg_W7eTfaJp2SUxLYF?slug=ki-marquez091609&prov=yhoo&type=lgns
Manny's performance against Oscar was brilliant. Give all of the excuses that you want, that was a ****ing boxing masterpiece that Pac put on.
Manny done a brilliant job .....there were so many times that I couldnt believe Oscar didnt fire back...... however ...then again look at Hatton he did fire back and look what happened.
Dlh as a promoter has to show many faces. He has said good things about PAc, Floyd and JMM. He says that JMM will beat Floyd. That is how many feel because of how good Floyd is. I don't have a problem with Dlh saying that as the little guy always gets the support if he is facing the best fighter alive today when that fighter is bigger than JMM.
Also Oscar didn't drink urine. JMM did it once a day and he almost beat Pacman. Now he is drinking it twice a day, which makes him extremely dangerous. And with fight being postponed from July, the amount of urine JMM would have absorbed by this Sat makes him extremely dangerous. Look for odds in Las Vegas to narrow significantly come the fight night.
