This was the problem with the scoring. He let his hands go, but he rarely landed anything clean. He got credit for punches he didn't land.

Yes. DLH didn't win that fight but , Roach did come up with a good gameplan.

He should have finished strong instead of peddling backwards, I remember laughing when I saw the reaction on DLH face when the decision was read.

A close fight..simply because Oscar was younger and all the things that comes with being younger and fresher...but he at no point could hang with Floyd speed wise or boxing IQ wise.....im going Floyd close UD maybe even another SD but legit this time.

yup I agree, I wouldn't say he'd make him his ***** though, but that version of Mayweather beats that version of Oscar. The Floyd that Oscar fought would loose to the Oscar that Vargas fought though.

Fact. And anyone who had Oscar ahead or very close is reaching. Oscar was missing and arm punching/shoe shining for the majority of the fight. Are we talking about Floyd now or Floyd when he fought Oscar in this poll?

Seriously, the man got outboxed by Mosley over 12. We all know their isn't anything special about Mosley's style, he possessed no mysteries for Hoya to get by yet their were moments he looked baffled and he showed no ability to adjust over 12 rounds. The guy simply doesn't have the boxing acumen to compete with the greats.

    He was baffled versus Whitaker
    He was baffled versus Quartey
    He was baffled versus Mosley
    He was baffled versus Sturm
He was baffled after 6 rounds versus Floyd

How is it that if we somehow make him younger will this change? It won't HE WILL STILL BE BAFFLED against elite conpetitors that don't stand in front him and allow him to get off first.

He was baffled versus Whitaker - beat whitaker
He was baffled versus Quartey - beat Quartey
He was baffled versus Mosley - beat Mosley 2nd time
He was baffled versus Sturm - who cares, Oscar was fat
He was baffled after 6 rounds versus Floyd - WRONG. Was beating Floyd after 9 rounds. Floyd didn't do **** until the 10th when Oscar gassed.

Floyd didn't DO ANYTHING, until the last 1/4 of the fight!LOL
You obviously don't know much about boxing. Oscar BOXED Mosley the 2nd time and avoided exchanges and is why most people thought Oscar won that fight. He had Mosley looking defeated on his stool.

Money May who fought ODLH through SD vs Oscar who beat Vargas?

If ODLH doesnt gas out in the late rounds, Fishnet Oscar would be winning those close rounds. I see it a close UD or SD in favor of ODLH.

1.If he did beat Whitaker which is deabateable it definitely wasn't by the margin the judges had it.

2.Fine, but what does that have to do with the 1st fight where he showed no ability to adjust?

    3. From what he showed if he was in shape he still wouldve been in knots from Sturms style. A clear defeat.

    4. Floyd had started to pull away clearly by the 8th round and the rounds that Oscar won were from him simply being more active not effective scoring. I have 8-4 for Floyd. When I watch repeatedly I sometimes score some rounds differently but the score is always the same.

I think Mayweather would always beat Oscar stylewise. Just quicker and better head to head. Careerwise Oscar has the better career, but head to head he has problems with certain fighters.

That old ass Oscar who got touched up by Forbes and destroyed by Pac gave floyd all he could handle. Fishnet with younger legs would have beat floyd convincingly. Especially if he had roach.
