Cintron would have been instrumental for Mayweather to become ATG?

I was actually watching the Judah fight and for the 1st few rds Mayweather had trouble dealing with. Judah's speed if only Judah wasn't a head case ..Had Floyd fought Oscar in his prime I would have no doubt he would beat Mayweather

    :rofl

Remember the "puta" dance, performed by Cintron against Martinez?

That stuff was made of legends, much like his jump job against Williams, absolutely great stuff.

As some have stated, the DLh-Floyd fight wasn't really THAT close. Only reason why it was a split decision is because Floyd fought the Goldenboy in vegas which has been a very kind place to Oscar and gotten him some very controversial decision victories (i.e. Sturm bout.)

I didn't think Oscar won more than 4 rounds in that fight. I've seen the match probably 4 or 5 times and the only thing I can think of as to why people think the fight was close is maybe they think when Oscar had Floyd pinned on the ropes that his flurry of punches were actually connecting on mayweather, which they definitely weren't as most of his shots were blocked by Floyd's gloves, shoulders and forearms/elbows.

Floyd won that fight 8-4. I guess it was pretty close in the sense that very few boxers are lucky enough to win more than a few rounds against Floyd in general.

Funny thing is Floyd actually looks much better now as a fighter than he did in 2007. He's used to the big stage now (his fight with Oscar was his first truly big fight as far as venue goes,) and very comfortable fighting WW and JMW's.

Imo there's only 2 maybe 3 can't miss fights Mayweather could have had added to his record in order
Tszyu at JWW(Tszyu was a perennial P4P fighter for the better part of a decade they say hbo/sho issuse got in the way, by the time Mayweather moved up to JWW Tszyu was still a P4P fighter but close to his way out.

Hatton/Cotto** at JWW/WW( after Hatton-Tszyu/Mayweather-Gatti they should have fought for the lineal crown but Team Hatton openly ducked Mayweather after May-Gatti til he beat Castillo/saw Hoya-May do 2.5 $$$$. Still they ended up fighting with Hatton losing by KO).
(The Cotto situation is similar Team Cotto had his training partner Brussles fight May to see how Cotto's style would do after that KO and watching May-Gatti ringside Team Cotto openly ducked Mayweather, Cotto as recently as last year said they never even mentioned Mayweathers name in his camp. Again they ended up fighting with Cotto winning 3 rds). Imo there a pass here because both fighters PUBLICLY ducked May for half a decade.

Last would be Pacquaio(obviously) depending on how you look at the situation you can agree/disagree
But 50/50 14 day cut off BEST DEAL.
40 mil(PPV??) drug testing still best deal offered in Career.
Pacquaio currently saying he'll take whatever they give him equal biggest loser in this all.

(Guys like Williams, Margarito, Cintron, Clottey ect.. have no reason to be in this discussion. Hatton/Cotto ducked May at points but the number of hof caliber fighters fought/beaten by each individually shits on P.Will, Margo, Tron, & Clottey combined between them the only quailty win is Margo-Cotto I(Margo was caught cheating and got KO'D 6 months later and eventually was KO'D by Cotto in a rematch. And inversely the only person who's resume was made better by beating one of these guys was Mosley KO of Margo(Margo coming off Cotto win and caught trying to cheat vs Mosley).

As far as toughest fights I'd put Alvarez, Castillo II, C.Hernandez, Judah, Augustus above De La Hoya

Floyd outclassed oscar through most of the fight, was quicker and more accurate with his punches.

The biased crowd skewed peoples perception as every time oscar had a little flurry of pitta patta punches they went wild, but they never hurt floyd.

It reminded me a lot of the calzaghe vs hopkins fight, where calzaghe didnt do **** the whole fight to hurt hopkins yet because he was shoe shining all night, people didn't see the accurate punches coming from bhop that were doing far more damage

Floyd beat De La Hoya. The best you can give De La Hoya is 4 rounds if that. Yes he tried to be aggressive against the smaller Mayweather but his punches were not connecting like Floyds were connecting. Mayweather ATG status is assured period. Its not his fault he makes good and great fighters look ordinary. As for Oscar he is one the biggest hype jobs. Yes he was good and talented but not the fighter some people want to make him out to be. Also what is all that dressing up in female clothing about? Don't understand it.

You are spot on. Oscar did not win more than 4 rounds.

I dont agree that Castrillo gave him his toughest fight, I think Emanuel Burton and Hatton gave him his toughest fight.

However, I do agree that Floyd beat ODLH preety convincly. I had it 8 to 4.
