De La Hoya going in on HBO and Top Rank

    How does it split the sport in half? You think GBP is only gonna have in house fights from now on? TR isn't the only other promoter eh?

    HBO and GBP are acting like gossiping bitches, not business Men!!!

    you dont make a broad decission like "we are no longer working with GBP" if you are about your business you keep all doors open\

    what they gonna turn into the 50 cent concert/boxing match combo network

    Sounds like behind the scenes GBP was trying to control HBO. It's never good when a promoter controls a network, we get **** fights on it. Look a few years back when Top Rank had the only contract with Versus for a weekly boxing program. The fights were awful.

    Apparently HBO put this out there to let fighters know if you sign with GBP you won't be on the big stage. be interesting to see what happens, but hopefully boxing gets better fights out of it.
