Oscar started at 135 and had enough fights at 154 before moving to 160 so his situation is COMPLETELY different than Pacquiao's. Pacquiao is a former 107lb fighter who only recently made his 135 debut in just one fight and moving all the way to 147 for DLH, this fight is pro-DLH all the way. The only reason Pacquiao signed for this fight is the 60-40 split he demanded, you can guess how much money it took to convince him and that's where it ends.

The reason why DLH picked this fight is he's 100% confident that WON'T happen. I'm more worried about Pacquiao getting knocked out in that round to be honest, if Manny had even 0.01% of scoring that in the first round then this fight WON'T be on.

Yeah, it's all Oscar hate.

It has nothing to do with the fact that DLH was moving up one weight class to fight Hopkins, after being at 154 for 3 years, and they fought at a catchweight of 158 for Hopkins's middleweight title.

As opposed to a guy who has fought just once above 130, and is fighting at 147 against a guy who's been at 147 and above since 1997.

the jump in weight class wasn't as sudden so people weren't as shocked.
