He is 8-5 over the past nine years and only 3-3 over past five years (including the Felix Sturm "win"). How does he keep coming up with the big fights and how do fans keep buying into it? Even Evander Holyfield has a better record than DLH since 2003.

You know how fighters put "rounds in the bank" in the course of fights? He's put "years in the bank" in the course of his career and made a celebrity of himself. He could lose five in a row and headline a PPV (with halfway decent numbers), I'd wager.

5 loses in a row would be too much even for Tyson at the height of his popularity!

For whatever it's worth DLH losses have only come at the hands of future HallofFamers and his last fight was vs. the top fighter in the sport!

    It's all about $$$$

His stardom reaches outside die-hard boxing fans to casual fans and people who know nothing about boxing and rarely or never watch it.

You ask most people to name some current boxers (besides DLH) and they'll say "um, Mike Tyson, and the guy who got his ear bitten off by Tyson."

Most people know who DLH is and they believe that since he gets media attention and is good-looking, has charisma, he must be good, but he actually sucks.

It's what he did for Boxing, he brought exitement to boxing when it was suffering. He fought the best, and even when he lost he was still the fighter everybody wanted to fight to get that payday. Now he's a succesfull promoter, and still fighting. He's one hell of a buissnes man. he owns Magazine publications, charter schools in the LA area, is a big celebrity in countries as far as Belarus and the united arab emerites.

Anybody fights Oscar becomes an instant Millionair, win or lose.

He don't mean **** to me. The last Oscar fight that I bought was against Hopkins. Never again.

I'm not giving him another penny.

He keeps coming up with fights by fighting big name fighters. I hate Oscars fan base as much as the next guy, but I must admit he has fought very good competition and has a fan-friendly fighting style.
