DE LA HOYA: Mayweather easily beats Pacquiao

Disclaimer: This thread is a lesson in objectivity. A quality that is severely lacking from this forum as it becomes more and more like Pacland (I imagine) every day.

A fellow ESB-er and ******* posted this same quote as support that FMJ is afraid of Balquiao. I present you the same quote without his lame ass emphasis for you to judge for yourself.

This ***** of a poster tried to emphasize certain parts of the quote to try and make it look like something it isn't.

By emphasizing the words fear, not, and Pacquiao, the ******* rallied those like him for yet another Pacquio circle jerk. However, intelligent fans can see past his bull and see the quote for its 2 simple truths.

1. Floyd fears losing (who doesn't?).
2. Floyd will easily outbox Pacquiao according to DLH and other boxing experts.

Now here is the quote with my emphasis.

Without the Pacquio reference, DLH could be talking about anyone from Baldomir, to Gatti, to himself. Only you ran with the Pacquiao reference, which I loved.

 

Then why are u *******s celebrating in the other thread that DLH (in your opinion) said that FMJ is afraid of Blaquiao? You can't have it both ways *******! If DLH says he's afraid, is that just promotion as well?

Everyone has a fear of losing. I was afraid that my son's 8 year old Fall Ball (baseball) team was going to lose yesterday. It's natural.

Floyd says he doesn't fear losing? And???

If you believe everything that comes out of a fighter's mouth, then I feel sorry for you. You must really end up confused when you watch post fight interviews. If you buy into bravado-talk, then no fighter in history has ever been hurt or in danger.

 

Thank you for some objectivity and not just celebrating one skewed view or interpretation. There's hope for this forum yet.
