He doesn't have to KO JMM. That will be very difficult. He just needs to win decisively, like 8-4. It's a tougher fight for Floyd than many people think. Floyd says he won't be satisfied if it goes the distance. He wants to do it to for one, look better than Pacquiao did against JMM (not hard, just win the fight!) and two, he wants to make it entertaining. JMM will pressure. This fight will be good viewing.

it's like people saying "pac KO'd hatton in 2 and it took floyd longer..".

pac is a come forward, physical fighter and floyd is a tactician.
like i keep saying, you can't compare fighters by mutual conquests, losses, and how long it took them.

 

i hope so. both marquez and floyd are smart fighters in the ring.
what will make the fight good viewing is if marquez is ahead by the middle rounds and floyd has to test himself against marquez's counter-punching.
marquez is a terrific counter-puncher (as is floyd), but we really need floyd to have his back to the wall in this fight to make it a good one.

there is a real danger for this fight that both will look to counter punching early.
